Duties and responsibilities

  • Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of production workers who operate machines to process natural, synthetic and hybrid têxtile fibre, yarn and thread; bleach, dye and finish têxtiles; operate manufacturing machines to cut, stitch and produce fabric, fur or leather garments and other products; and inspect têxtile products
  • He should be aware the details of the particulars i.e. loom width, loom speed, sorts running at that loom, reed/ pick, Reed space, total ends, beam length, time to run out the beam.
  • He must know the fabric defect, their causes and remedies. Should be able to guide the jobbers, weavers, fitters how best the fabric defect can be minimized.
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other departments
  • Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Requisition materials and supplies
  • Train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
  • Prepare production and other reports
  • May set up machines and equipment.
Qualification and skills

  • Proven experience as Production Supervisor or similar role.
  • Diploma or graduation in têxtile technology
  • 25 years of proven experience as Production Supervisor in têxtile industry
  • Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office.
  • Organizational and leadership abilities.

Salary:
₹16, ₹25,000.00 per month
