Job Summary:

The Government Sales Executive plays a pivotal role in identifying, targeting, and acquiring government clients for our advertising services.

The role involves building strong relationships with government agencies and departments, preparing tailored proposals, and ensuring compliance with government procurement regulations.

The Government Sales Executive is responsible for achieving government sales targets and contributing to the growth and success of our organization in the public sector.


Key Responsibilities:

Government Client Acquisition:


  • Identify and target government agencies and departments as potential clients.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of government leads.

Proposal Development:


  • Create customized and compelling proposals that align with government client needs and procurement guidelines.
  • Ensure all proposals adhere to government procurement regulations.
3.


Government Tender Participation:


  • Monitor government tenders and bid opportunities.
  • Prepare and submit bids that meet government requirements and specifications.

Relationship Building:


  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with government decisionmakers, procurement officers, and key influencers.
  • Attend government networking events and meetings to strengthen connections.

Product and Service Knowledge:


  • Stay updated on advertising industry products and services.
  • Provide expert advice to government clients on advertising solutions.

Regulatory Compliance:


  • Ensure all government sales activities are compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Provide guidance on legal and compliance issues to government clients.

Sales Negotiation:


  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with government clients.
  • Maximize revenue while maintaining mutually beneficial relationships.

Sales Forecasting and Reporting:


  • Forecast government sales revenue and track progress against targets.
  • Provide regular sales reports and updates to senior management.

Cross-functional Collaboration:


  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and creative departments, to meet government client needs.
  • Ensure the successful execution of advertising campaigns.

Market Research:


  • Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities in the government sector.
  • Stay informed about government policies and initiatives that impact advertising needs.

Client Satisfaction:


  • Monitor client satisfaction and seek feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Address and resolve any client concerns promptly to maintain high client retention rates.

Revenue Growth:


  • Meet or exceed government sales revenue targets.
  • Develop and implement strategies to expand the government client portfolio.

Competition Analysis:


  • Analyze competitors' activities in the government sector.
  • Develop strategies to stay competitive, capture market share, and differentiate our offerings.

Adherence to Deadlines:


  • Ensure timely submission of proposals and responses to government inquiries.
  • Maintain a high level of responsiveness to meet deadlines and requirements.

Government Contract Management:


  • Manage and fulfill government contracts efficiently, ensuring compliance and ontime delivery.
  • Monitor contract compliance and deliverables to maintain successful client relationships.

Qualifications:


  • Indepth knowledge of government procurement regulations and processes.
  • Strong understanding of the advertising industry and services.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationshipbuilding skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • A resultsoriented approach with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Experience:


  • 4 to 7 years of Sales or any business development in Government Sector.
  • Documentation Exposure till Billing is must.

Salary:
Up to ₹45,000.00 per month
