    Junior Database Developer - Web Reports


    Join us as a Junior Database Developer on our Web Reports team in our Kolkata office to get the opportunity to do the best work of your career and make a profound impact in our journey of enabling retail in India.

    What You'll Achieve :


    As a database Developer, you will be a key member of the Database Group responsible enhanced reporting capability of the product with BI Reports and overall database support with concentration in back-end programming.

    The database Developer will be responsible to properly maintain source code sets and necessary technical documentation for design and delivery of reports, and overall database maintenance.

    You will :


    • Develop and maintain Oracle PLSQL code for various applications and databases.
    • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to analyze and implement database solutions.
    • Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure the quality and reliability of code.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues and optimize SQL queries.
    • Create and maintain technical documentation for database designs and code implementations.
    • Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in Oracle PLSQL development.
    Essential Requirements :


    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
    • 13 years of handson experience in Oracle PLSQL development.
    • Solid understanding of relational database concepts and SQL programming.
    • Experience with Oracle Database (11g/12c) and Oracle PL/SQL programming.
    • Familiarity with performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing techniques.


    Desirable Requirements :



    • Analytical and problemsolving skills with attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
    • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment.
    • Certification in Oracle Database or PL/SQL is a plus.
    • Knowledge of SQLServer and PostgreSQL is a plus.
