ServiceNow Architect


Our innovative and growing organization is looking for a dedicated ServiceNow Architect to help our Service Operations team to achieve effectiveness and efficiency in the delivery and support of IT services.

The ServiceNow Architect has overall responsibility for the Silver Tree multi-client instance (and any unique client instances) of ServiceNow. Due to the criticality of ITSM to the Silver Tree business, it's considered a critical IT tool. ServiceNow is therefore to be managed without interruption (other than for planned upgrades) 24X7X365.


The ServiceNow Architect will execute the Silver Tree vision of the integrated ServiceNow ITSM solution through their involvement throughout the Solution Framework focus areas and client relationships.

Develops the solution, develop how out-of-the-box ServiceNow functionality meets the requirements of the client based on captured requirements, and supports sales and delivery processes (including demonstrating Silver Tree ITSM capabilities in a permanently available 'Demo' or Marketing instance of the Toolset developed in close consultation with the sales, marketing and relevant line of business executives.


Responsibilities
Under the direction of Silver Tree leadership, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Collect and document standard requirements to establish a solution baseline
  • Creates & maintains a detailed view of existing architecture
  • Leads the ServiceNow Support Team in implementation of technical good practices, policies, and procedures
  • Ensure compliance to established framework, standards and oversight methods
  • In consultation with Silver Tree Clients, manage a ServiceNow architecture advisory board to drive an every improving ITIL based customer service including but not limited to architectural design reviews, code, roadmap design and prioritization, platform expertise, expert program/project guidance and optimization planning.
  • Support sales setting the vision of the solution implementation given an indepth understanding of the offering. Serve as a key customer contact responsible for enhancing the client relationship and obtaining positive client references
  • Manage the transition from sales to delivery, providing the linkage from 'promised' to 'fulfillment'. Support delivery in an advisory role for successful execution of the proposed solution
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree with 6+ years of relevant experience or Master's with 2+ years of prior relevant experience. Additional years of work experience in lieu of degree is acceptable.

  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist in three (3) areas
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
  • ServiceNow Suite Certifications in two (2) areas
  • ITIL V3 or V4 Foundations Certification
  • Minimum of eight (8) years' experience in an Information Services environment, minimum of four (4) years in ServiceNow development, minimum of two (2) years in ServiceNow architecture, minimum of four (4) years in ServiceNow consultative engagement technical ownership, development experience or oversight in at least forty (30) implementations, minimum of one (1) year management experience, technical experience in enterpriselevel solution design
  • Competence in relevant business processes, crossindustry solutions with excellent organizational, presentation, negotiation, and analysis skills
  • In depth experience working on proposals with knowledge of financials, client value, bestinbreed technology, requirements mapping to solution offering and presentation skills to client upper management and executives
  • Recognized leader within defined area of expertise, capable of identifying and resolving business issues through solutions and services
  • Collaborative, effective time and multitask management working with peers and leadership on solution development and maturity while billable at customers & supporting sales
  • Demonstrated ability to provide architectural and methodology oversight for concurrent delivery projects
  • Outstanding leadership and organizational skills.
