Responsibilities:


  • Prepare and cook authentic Indian dishes with precision and creativity, following established recipes and standards.
  • Supervise and coordinate daily operations in the Indian kitchen, ensuring efficient workflow and timely production of dishes.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to design and develop new Indian menu items, incorporating seasonal ingredients and culinary trends.
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff in Indian culinary techniques, hygiene standards, and safety protocols.
  • Monitor food quality, presentation, and portioning to maintain high standards and guest satisfaction.
  • Manage inventory for Indian ingredients, spices, and supplies, and oversee stock rotation and ordering.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Assist in menu planning, cost control, and budget management for the Indian kitchen section.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, new cooking techniques, and ingredients to enhance menu offerings and culinary creativity.

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as an Indian Chef de Partie or similar role in a reputable restaurant or hotel.
  • Deep knowledge of Indian cuisine, including regional specialties, spices, and cooking techniques.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve culinary excellence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and management.
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred.
  • Food safety certification (e.g., HACCP) and understanding of hygiene standards.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment, manage multiple tasks, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

₹20, ₹51,555.50 per month
