  • ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES (=) AND MAIN TASKS (+)  Support the Operability & Proposals manager and the Operability Hub Leads in the department recovery objectives and adequate team resourcing.  Develop a capacity planning tool tailored to the needs of the WIN phase for Operations allowing forward looking of the workload for each discipline, and accounting for the uncertainties related to tendering phases.  Support development of resources models for WIN phase based on project execution strategy.  Maintain the Operability capacity planning up to date based on inputs provided by the Operability & Proposals dept management and leads team.  Reconcile variances from original plans and maintain a view of actual against forecast projections.  Maintain Win phase manhours benchmark.  Distribute the Operability capacity planning to the relevant stakeholders at the agreed frequency.  Provide capacity/resources estimates to the Operability & Proposals department management team to support 3Y planning.  Based on capacity planning, participate to Operability & Proposals project team setup by proposing resources allocations that are in line with department resources capacity.  Monitor department recovery and provide early warning when deviations are identified.  Once effective capacity planning is in place for Operability & Proposals department, support other Asset Integrity department in settingup their capacity planning monitoring as required, including Execute phase  Contribute to the setup and regular update of the capacity planning procedure for the Operability & Proposals department.  Contribute to the department headcount definition providing planning set up / organization.  Collect workload inputs from department management and leads.  Collect headcount from HR/Finance  Review scenarios and sensitivities with department management and leads.  Propose a capacity planning making best use of resources and maximizing recovery. This input enables the department manager to best resource utilization at any point in time.  Coordinate and edit the regular capacity planning update to the department management and leads in line with the capacity planning procedure.  Ensure update of capacity planning / schedule is regularly performed and published.  During new project setup, include new project resources requirement into capacity planning and propose best resources allocation that maximize resources utilization.  At end of year, issue resources utilization and suggest lessons learnt in view of preparing next 3YP.  Identify shortcomings in current methods, processes and procedures and propose improvements and good practices to be implemented.
  • JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Vocational qualification or degree in a numerate discipline with planning and at least 2 years' handson planning experience in an Offshore Oil & Gas industry, shipyard, engineering or project management environment.
  • Fluent in English (speaking and writing)
  • Good Communication skills. Autonomous.
  • Detailed knowledge of Primavera (P6) and Microsoft Project planning software.
  • Good IT knowledge, ability to build macros in order to present information in accordance with management requirements.
  • Understanding for Project Execution phases and resources planning
  • Able to travel abroad and offshore on short or long duration basis as required.
