    You will be working as Associate Software Developer and will be part of Process Automation Business Area for Process Automation Digital division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Digital Solution Engineering Manager and will be responsible for developing and enhancing complete and sizable software modules in the assigned software engineering function in one or more of platform and application management. Providing accurate project schedule estimates and ensuring their successful completion within the deadline. Executing assigned design and development activities focused on building solutions in an efficient and cost-effective manner and in accordance with quality standards.

    Your responsibilities

    • Collaborating with a diverse team to develop cutting-edge solutions for Industrial Automation projects
    • Utilizing your expertise in Angular/React, .NET Core, dashboards, advanced analytics and azure cloud to contribute to software development
    • Contributing to software lifecycle automation, building and releasing management, and CI/CD processes
    • Working closely with the ABB Project Manager to ensure the successful delivery of projects
    • Engaging in continuous learning and development to stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices

    Your background

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or any related technical field
    • Minimum 6 to 9 years of experience in front-end and back-end development, with expertise in technologies such as Angular/React, .NET Core or similar frameworks for building responsive web applications
    • Experience with dashboards, advanced analytics and azure cloud services is a plus
    • Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services
    • Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript or other relevant programming languages for web development
    • Familiarity with software lifecycle automation, building and releasing management, and CI/CD pipelines
    • Good problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude. Strong communication and collaboration skills
