As an Oracle DBA, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our Oracle database systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance and monitoring of Oracle database systems to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security.
• Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle database software and related products.
• Design and implement backup and recovery strategies to safeguard critical data.
• Troubleshoot and resolve databaserelated issues in a timely manner, including performance tuning, database corruption, and connectivity problems.
• Implement and enforce database security policies and procedures to protect sensitive data from unauthorized access and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Perform database capacity planning and resource utilization analysis to anticipate future growth and scalability needs.
• Document database configurations, procedures, and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure consistency in system administration tasks.
• Participate in oncall rotation and respond to databaserelated emergencies outside of regular business hours as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of three years of handson experience as an Oracle Database Administrator in a production environment.
• Proficiency in Oracle database administration tasks, including installation, configuration, performance tuning, backup and recovery, and security management.
• Strong understanding of Oracle database architecture, SQL, PL/SQL, and database design principles.
• Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) and other database administration tools.
• Solid understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems and shell scripting.
• Excellent analytical, problemsolving, and communication skills.
• Oracle certification (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional) is a plus.
