Overview:

Responsibilities:

Provide on-site technical support for all IT hardware-related issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.

Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware problems reported by end-users and implement effective solutions promptly.

Install, configure, and maintain hardware equipment and peripherals to ensure optimal performance.

Set up new workstations and perform hardware upgrades as necessary to enhance efficiency.

Coordinate with the IT team to resolve network connectivity and software-related issues.

Collaborate with vendors to facilitate hardware repairs and replacements under warranty or maintenance agreements.

Ensure the proper inventory management of hardware assets and maintain accurate records.

Conduct regular preventive maintenance for IT hardware to minimize downtime and increase equipment lifespan.

Respond to IT support tickets in a timely manner and escalate complex issues to higher-level support as required.

Stay updated with the latest hardware and technology trends to recommend improvements and cost-effective solutions.


Requirements:


Educational Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in IT hardware support with a specific focus on the hospital industry.

Technical Skills:
Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving hardware issues for various devices and peripherals.

Strong knowledge of computer hardware components, operating systems, and office productivity software.

Familiarity with network troubleshooting and basic understanding of network protocols.

Experience with hardware installation and setup procedures.

Ability to work with hardware vendors to coordinate repairs and maintenance.

Communication Skills:
Good verbal and written communication skills to interact with end-users and team members effectively.

Problem-Solving:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to diagnose hardware issues and implement appropriate solutions.

Organizational Skills:
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize them based on urgency.
