    Description

    Job Description :

    Tech stacks are modern and use AWS extensively.

    The primary languages used are Java and TypeScript. But knowledge in Python or Ruby is also an advantage.

    Key candidate responsibilities :

    - Keeping solutions secure and stable this includes updating runtimes, managing dependencies, and proactively identifying issues.

    - Improving Operational Excellence.

    Increasing test coverage, metrics, alarming, dashboarding.

    Good DevOps will enable the team to deliver faster for customers.

    - Assisting with operational and investigative issues.

    The candidate will be first contact for non-critical tickets.

    They will need to dive into unfamiliar systems to answer customer questions.

    - Making small code improvements to existing systems.

    - Create well-defined solutions using scripts and low-code platforms.

    - Participating in business intelligence improvement write queries and create dashboards.

    Basic qualifications & skills :

    - 2+ years of contributing to and maintaining systems

    - Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, Javascript /TypeScript, Python, C#, Golang, Ruby

    - Experience using SQL

    - Able to follow instructions to execute standard maintainance processes

    - Can write comprehensive testing suites, both unit and integration

    - Business Level of English (Written and Verbal)

    - Exposure to Devops

    Preferred skills :

    - Expertise in Java and/or TypeScript

    - Experience using Amazon Web Services AWS (Lambda, S3, DynamoDB)

    - Able to create dashboards using QuickSight, PowerBI, or equivalent platform

    - Experience in working on a software team (Source Control, Code Reviews, Change Control)

    - Experience with maintaining distributed operational health and using performance monitoring systems
