Description

Operate TIG welding machine as per standard operating procedure to weld the parts to meet the drawing requirements

Operate Vacuum Furnace & Muffle furnace per standard operating procedure to Heat treat the parts to meet the drawing requirements

Manitain process parameter,such as, Heat treatment work order no Quantity welded, Part id no, work order with respect to the batch file in log book for traceablity

Ensure cleaneaness of the parts before Heat treatment and welding by cleaning the parts in ultrasonic machine or by Lint free cloth socked in IPA for effective welding

Prepare inspection report as per TPI for the parts welded/ Heat treated as per SOP to maintain tracablity

Operate cutting/ etching of specimens as per Sandard operating procedure and submit to QA for process to validate the welding process

Setting of welding parameters in the NC control/ Machine HMI based on the requirements mentioned in the approved WPS to weld the parts

Setting of Heat treatment parameters in the SCADA / Programer based on the requirements mentioned in the drawing

Ensure dimension on the welded samples by video measuring instrument to meet the requirements in the customer/ process drawing requirements

Maintain sufficent spares and consumables for TIG welding machine to facitilate during any breakdown

Maintain sufficent spares and consumables for Furnace to facitilate during any breakdown

Work with Maintanance team to carryout preventive maintanance as per maintanance procedure to ensure breakdown free machine

Ensure the run out on the welded component by dialing the parts before welding to achive a defect free component

Establish new product development by conducting welding trials to ensue to meet customer requirements

Maintain 5 S at work place as per TQM sop to ensure clean and safe work environment.

Responsible for the proper packaging, identifying and moving of all finished products as per the standard packing boxes to avoided damages to the parts

Ensure hardness of the heatrtreated parts on thespecimen or on parts to ensure to meet the drawing requirement
