Key Responsibilities:

Procurement Strategy:

Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement strategy aligned with the company's objectives and costsaving goals.
Identify costeffective sources of supply while maintaining quality standards.
Monitor market trends and industry developments to stay updated on the latest materials and pricing trends.

Supplier Management:

Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with reliable suppliers, ensuring they meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
Negotiate supplier agreements, contracts, and terms to secure favorable conditions for the company.
Continuously assess supplier performance and address any issues or noncompliance promptly.

Inventory Management:

Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet production demands while minimizing carrying costs.
Implement inventory control systems and conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Work closely with production and finance teams to forecast material requirements.

Cost Control:

Analyze cost structures and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
Implement costsaving initiatives and monitor their effectiveness.
Ensure adherence to budgetary constraints and financial objectives.

Quality Assurance:

Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure that purchased materials meet specified quality standards.
Implement quality assurance processes to mitigate the risk of substandard materials entering the production process.

Compliance:

Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations related to procurement and supply chain activities.
Ensure all procurement activities adhere to legal and ethical standards.
Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.

Team Leadership:

Lead, mentor, and develop a highperforming purchase department team.
Set clear goals and expectations for team members and conduct performance evaluations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Proven experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related role within the manufacturing industry, with at least [X] years in a managerial capacity.
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using procurement and inventory management software.
Indepth knowledge of leather and related materials is a plus.
Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in procurement.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
