JR34254 Intern, NVEG PE


As a Product Engineer in the Non-Volatile Engineering (NVE) group at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for product test development and testing strategies with emphasis on Test Chips for Micron's leading-edge 3D NAND memory.

You will responsible for defining testmode specifications, working with Test Solutions Engineering on test code development, collaborating with Design Engineering on testmode implementation, and validating and debugging testmodes and test results via simulation and silicon characterization.

You will provide critical test solutions that will be used to screen and characterize quality and reliability failures on Micron's NAND products.


Responsibilities:


  • NAND product test development and validation
  • Run Verilog (Digital) and Analog design simulations, Analyze, Debugging presilicon Full Chip designs.
  • Develop and maintain regressions to improve the functional coverage of the NAND Architecture.
  • Contribute to the improvement of any existing pre, post silicon flows and methodologies as per current Industry trends.
  • Define and improve testing methods to address new experimental designs or debug issues on devices manufactured at Micron's R&D and Fab10 Manufacturing facilities
  • Perform device characterization and electrical failure analysis (EFA)
  • Work with Design Engineering to create new testmodes to improve overall testing effectiveness and efficiency

Qualifications:


  • Excellent data analysis, problem solving, and decisionmaking skills
  • Strong foundation of mixedsignal VLSI such as analog circuits and systems, digital logic and RTL design.
  • Knowledge of firmware and assembly level programming
  • Knowledge of Flash memory architecture and operation
  • Knowledge of bench testing equipment (oscope, logic analyzer, Nextest Magnum, etc)
  • Knowledge of statistics and data analysis tools
  • Knowledge in writing testbenches in SV, Verilog, Verilog-AMS, Spice.
  • Hands on experience in UVM, COSIM, AMS flows is a plus.
  • Fundamental programming/scripting skills (C/C++, Python, Perl, Verilog)
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Selfmotivated and enthusiastic
  • Demonstrated ability to partner successfully with other groups to build strong peer relationships and meet customers' needs

Education:


  • This position requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Material Engineering or related disciplines.
  • Course work in VLSI, semiconductor process, and semiconductor device physics
