Introduction

Role Purpose

The Automation Tester who will be responsible to Automate, Test and analyze complex existing, enhanced or new IT solutions in line with quality standards in accordance with the business requirements and nonfunctional requirements.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years test automation experience required
• Knowledge of QTP and SQL required
• Knowledge of Selenium with Java is mandatory.
• Exposure to complex and diverse IT projects using a variety of testing tools and techniques will be an advantage.

Duties & Responsibilities

Defect Management: Accurately log defects immediately after detection with enough detail and ensure appropriate follow up.

Test Execution: Execute tests planned and allocated within the agreed time frames.

• Liaise with Test Analysts to ensure that the manual and automated test plans are met. Store all automated test results for decision making and future reference.

Test Planning: Plan and design the automation framework. Design, creates and maintaining scripts using automation and programming standards to ensure reusability and maintainability of scripts. Design automated test plan for the project (to be included in the manual test plan created by the Test Analyst). Liaise with Test Analyst to ensure efficient automated test plan. Testing of scripts before the automated test execution. Design and create test data before automated test execution. Creating and/or maintaining test automation support tools.

• Provide authoritative, expertise and advice to clients and stakeholders.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Deliver on service level agreements made with internal and external stakeholders and clients.
• Make recommendations to improvement client service within area of responsibility.
• Participate and contribute to a culture which build rewarding relationships, facilitates feedback and provides exceptional client service.
• Continuously develop own expertise in terms of professional, industry and legislation knowledge.

Competencies

Mandatory Skills:
