Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Merchant to join our dynamic team.

As a Merchant, you will be responsible for managing the purchasing and procurement process for our company's products and services.

Your main goal will be to ensure that we have a reliable and cost-effective supply chain while maintaining the highest quality standards.


Responsibilities:


  • Identify and source new suppliers, negotiate contracts, and build strong vendor relationships.
  • Analyze market trends and pricing to make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock replenishment to avoid shortages or excess.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including sales and marketing, to ensure the availability of products to meet customer demand.
  • Manage the entire procurement process, from order placement to delivery, and resolve any issues that may arise during the process.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
  • Continuously evaluate supplier performance to assess their reliability, quality, and costeffectiveness.
  • Implement strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency in the procurement process.
  • Stay updated on industry developments and market conditions to make informed decisions.
  • Work closely with the finance team to manage budgets and track expenses related to procurement.

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a Merchant, Purchasing Manager, or in a similar role.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Indepth knowledge of procurement best practices and supply chain management.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and compliance standards.
  • Proficient in using procurement software and tools.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities.

Job Types:
Full-time, Regular / Permanent


Salary:
₹12, ₹17,000.00 per month
