Senior PLC Programmer - Industrial Automation (Elder Equipment)
Job Summary:
The PLC Programmer - Industrial Automation will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) programs for elder equipment in our manufacturing facility.
The role will involve collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient and safe operation of machinery, particularly those utilised in elder equipment manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, program, implement, and maintain PLC programs for elder equipment, ensuring safety, efficiency, and reliability.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand equipment requirements and develop PLC programs accordingly.
- Conduct regular inspections and troubleshooting to identify and rectify any issues with the PLC systems.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for PLC systems.
- Assist with the installation and commissioning of new PLC systems.
- Provide training and support to junior team members.
- Keep uptodate with the latest developments in PLC programming and industrial automation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in PLC programming, preferably in an industrial manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency in PLC programming languages, such as Ladder Logic, Structured Text, or Function Block Diagram.
- Strong knowledge of industrial automation, including SCADA and HMI systems.
- Familiarity with elder equipment, such as wheelchairs, mobility aids, and medical devices, is preferred.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with Rockwell Automation products (Allen-Bradley) is a plus.

₹17, ₹23,000.00 per month
