Job Title - Analyst/Associate - Account Activity Reviews (AARs) / Expected Nature & Purpose of the Relationship (ENPRs) process


Location - Mumbai

Role Description


As part of Coverage Support & Lending Transaction Management team in the Corporate Bank, you will work with Coverage Bankers of our multinational Corporate clients to support them in their role as Accountable Client Owner (ACOs).


You will be responsible for coordination and completion of Account Analysis and related tasks, in particular Account Activity Reviews (AARs) / Expected Nature & Purpose of the Relationship (ENPRs) processes for clients covered by your Coverage team(s).


This includes working effectively with key stakeholders globally to ensure on-time completion of KYC profiles and ensure adherence to applicable internal policies and external legal/regulatory frameworks.

You will develop a strong understanding of our clients' business and legal hierarchies and use this knowledge to efficiently steer the completion of periodic / event driven client reviews.

Your key responsibilities

  • Integrated member of Corporate Coverage support team, supporting ACOs to analyze existing business with clients, ensure completion of the Account Activity Reviews (AARs) / Expected Nature & Purpose of the Relationship (ENPRs) within required time frame.
  • Support ACOs on Account Activity Reviews (AARs) / Expected Nature & Purpose of the Relationship (ENPRs) process including but not limited to:
  • Collecting and analying transaction data from Ops teams. Responsible for inputting client's expected account activity into system based on review of past activity and discussions with client
  • Reviewing clients' past account activity against expected and providing commentary in system to support ACO completing attestation. Working and following up with relevant stakeholders to resolve issues
  • Identifying potential risks and anomalies in clients' account activity. Escalating to ACO / AFC as required
  • Monitoring Project completion progress, followup with ACOs when required.

Your skills and experience

  • Recognized university degree and minimum 3 years of experience in relationship management/ Transaction banking products
  • Strong English oral & written communication skills to interact with internal stakeholders including senior management.
  • Willing to work under time driven deadlines to complete analysis of business that the bank does for its clients across products and AAR/ENPR review cases
  • Be proactive and able to resolve and respond to ad hoc requests and issues within the agreed turnaround times.
  • Be diligent and ensure quick escalations on key AAR/ENPR related issues or matters that require ACOs or other teams' attention.
