Position Summary

Purpose

This role provides a strong background in implementing and maintaining Workday SaaS applications. As a Workday Solution Analyst for our Financial Planning & Analytics applications, you will have a variety of responsibilities, including advising on our long-term roadmap to ensure scalable and innovative solutions, while partnering with the business to ensure their day-to-day needs are being met.

Duties & Responsibilities

Functions

§ Identification of business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures¿

§ Support the Planning Lead in architecting Workday Planning solution to ensure that all work streams are cohesive and cross functional impacts are considered and mitigated.

§ Advise users on industry standards¿and leading practices.¿

§ Demonstrate design options using prototyping.¿

§ Existing and up to date Adaptive Insights certification¿

§ Experience in Financial Management with a background in accounting, finance, consolidation, management reporting, planning and analysis, forecasting, budgeting, or related field.¿

Supervisory Responsibilities

§ This position has NO direct supervisory responsibilities.

Reporting Relationship

§ This position reports to the Manager II, Financial Solutions.

Qualifications

Qualifications

REQUIRED

§ Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

§ Must be fluent in speaking and writing English.

§ Experience in implementing Financial Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting systems like Adaptive Insights.¿

§ An understanding of Peoplesoft Financials.

§ SQL knowledge to read and write queries.

§ MS Office products experience.

DESIRED

§ More than 2 years of hands-on experience with delivering Adaptive Insights implementations.

§ Experience in multi-currency environment(s).

§ Understanding of any other programing language is a plus.

§ Working knowledge of integration through API is a plus.

§ Experience with integrations between FP&A tools and other finance applications, planning models and sheets, reporting methodologies, and dashboard management.

§ Experience in supporting FP&A teams through recurring planning operations and analyzing technical opportunities to improve processes.

§ Experience of having implemented, improved, and supported enterprise class financial systems - which includes planning, analysis and design, configuration, development, data migrations, system testing, cutover plan, and production support.
