SAP BASIS Expert with hands-on knowledge in HANA, BTP and CLOUD

[Project Details]:

10+ years of IT industry experience encompassing a wide range of skill set, roles on SAP Basis Consultant.

Extensive experience with Administration, Installation, Implementation, Migrations and Upgrades of SAP

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


Technology and Sub-technology

  • SAP Basis: SAP R/3 4.6B, SAP R/3 4.7, SAP Net-Weaver 7.0 ,7.1,7.3,7.4, S/4 HANA Cloud 1702,1705, S/4
HANA on Premise 1511,1610,180- SAP Components: ECC, BW, SRM, APO, CRM, PI, SOLMAN

  • Migration and

Upgrade Tools:
SUM and SWPM

  • Operating System: Solaris, Linux, AIX, Windows Server
  • Hands-On exposure for SAP and Database Cluster
  • Database: MaxDB, DB2 LUW, HANA (mandatory)
  • Unix Shell Scripting
  • Good understanding of Network Flow
  • Knowledge on AWS/Azure

Job Overview:

(1) Experience in migration of SAP ECC to S4 HANA mandatory. Understanding of Backup, Restore, HA DR set up, lift & shift migration will be mandatory

(2) Monitor System Performance and Batch Jobs related to SAP Basis and ensure proactive measures are taken to prevent major incidents.

(4) Understand the new business requirement and accordingly Functional Design Document will be prepared and the same will be delivered as per change management process.

(5) Focus constantly on areas to improve. Introduce measures to monitor and continuously improve response time and restoration time of incidents.

(6) Use SAP Basis expertise to help improve the resolution for any sort of failure Scenarios.

(7) Managing Technical cutovers and other new tasks like SAP upgrade & OS-DB Migration.

  • SAP BASIS with DBA (HANA, DB2 LUW, Oracle, etc)
  • AWS Knowledge
  • Multiple Golive experience

Good to have Skills:

Knowledge in other Cloud technology like Azure, GCP, etc


Responsibilities and Duties:

Performing BASIS and DBA technical steps

Gathering function and non-function requirements

Should have knowledge on basics of networking

Hands-on experience with BTP administration

Should be able to play the roles of a bilingual support engineer

Should be able to understand requirements discussed in calls and interpret to technical/functional consultants

Coordination with End Users

Discussion with Stakeholders on deliveries
