Description
As a Logistics Executive, your primary responsibility is to oversee and manage the end-to-end logistics operations of an organization.

You will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing the movement of goods, ensuring efficient delivery, and maintaining effective communication with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams.

Your role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations and timely delivery of products or services to customers.


Key Responsibilities:

Logistics Planning:
Develop and implement comprehensive logistics strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize efficiency and minimize costs. Plan and schedule transportation activities, warehouse operations, and inventory management.

Supply Chain Management:
Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials. Monitor and manage the supply chain to prevent disruptions and resolve any issues that may arise.

Freight Management:
Oversee the selection, negotiation, and management of transportation and shipping services, including carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers. Optimize freight routes and modes to minimize costs and transit times.

Inventory Control:
Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure optimal stock levels to meet customer demands. Implement inventory control measures, such as cycle counting, stock rotation, and order tracking, to prevent stockouts or overstocking.

Warehouse Operations:
Supervise warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, and distribution of goods. Ensure efficient utilization of warehouse space, proper handling of products, and adherence to safety standards. Implement and improve warehouse processes to enhance efficiency.

Documentation and Compliance:
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and trade requirements. Coordinate and manage documentation related to import/export, customs clearance, transportation, and warehousing.

Performance Monitoring:
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement. Develop and implement strategies to optimize logistics performance, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Team Management:
Lead and supervise a team of logistics personnel. Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure high levels of productivity and performance. Foster a positive work environment and encourage teamwork.

Vendor Management:
Identify and evaluate potential logistics partners, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships with vendors and service providers. Regularly review vendor performance and address any issues or concerns.

Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in logistics and supply chain management. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and cost savings.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Any degree.
  • Proven experience (typically 35 years) in logistics operations, preferably in a managerial role.
  • Indepth knowledge of logistics processes, transportation modes, and supply chain management.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations, customs requirements, and international trade practices.
  • Proficiency in using logistics management software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and other relevant tools.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to make datadriven decisions.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Leadership qualities and the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure in a fastpaced environment

Salary:
₹8, ₹42,424.58 per month
