UX Research Intern:
#Onsite : #Bangalore

The UX Research team is looking for a UX Research intern to join our remote Bangalore team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-driven, resourceful, energetic graduate student who has good UX research knowledge and wants to gain practical research experience and research operation skills.

Interns will assist with user research execution and research operations work.

Execute User Testing and Discovery Research

  • Assist with conducting user research studies (e.g. discovery interviews, usability and concept testing, etc) examining users' behaviors, needs, and attitudes
  • Assist with documenting and track learnings gathered through testing and research so insights can easily be referenced and applied for future research inquiries and efforts
  • Assist with data synthesis and developing research deliverables shared with RD stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate great listening and communication skills
  • Exhibit awareness of your own and others' biases and the ability minimize them in your work

Research Operations Tasks

  • Grow our customer panel
  • Focus on growing our customer panel and finding the right customers to participate in user research sessions.
  • Help manage our participant panel to ensure a diverse and engaged pool of participants.
  • Assist with identifying recruiting and scheduling participants including helping researchers and designers identify key target personas, assess the right questions for participant screens, and become an expert using our recruitment tools for finding the right participants.
  • Facilitate communication with research participants, ensuring a positive research experience.
  • Assist in the distribution of incentives to research participants.
  • Assist in maintaining research process documentation and templates.
  • Help organize research findings in our insights repository and distribution channels (e.g. Slack, Confluence)
  • Contribute to projects aimed at improving the efficiency of design and research processes.

Who you are:


  • In the process of receiving a Master's degree in UX Research, Human Centered Design, Sociology, Social Psychology, Industrial Psychology, Liberal Arts, Design, Experimental Psychology, Communications, Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, Human Factors, Human-Computer Interaction, Information Architecture, or related majors
  • Recently graduated or have one more quarter/semester remaining in university studies. Graduation date in Spring 2024 or Summer 202
  • Must be able to work in the Bangalore office (not a remote position)
  • Highly organized, motivated selfstarter, and good time management skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Have good knowledge of UX research and some experience conducting user research
  • Love to solve problems and can spot patterns in seemingly disorganized spaces
  • Prioritization skills with a knack for not letting 'perfect' get in the way of 'delivered'
  • Can build relationships with a wide variety of personalities and are a team player
  • Some experience leading projects is ideal (whether as part of a school project, volunteering, paid work, or another setting)
  • Has good knowledge of design thinking and/or service design methods
  • Knowledge of project management and/or design and research tools is a plus
