    Job Description

  • Job Purpose

    • Business management and creation of Security service portfolio, holistically, for maximum value creation for customers and business across their lifecycles. The role is vital to create and implement a strategic roadmap for security portfolio by launching comprehensive suite of managed Cyber Security services for enterprise customers. The role also includes managing and growing existing security products to create a string revenue line for the organisation.

  • Key Accountabilities / Key Result Areas (Max 5)
  • Build vision, strategy, and roadmap for security product(s) with an end goal of creating a scalable and sustainable business line and meeting VILs strategic objectives
  • Product lifecycle management with a key accountability to grow revenue and market share for the portfolio.
  • Market mapping of current and future product capabilities, sizing of business opportunities and creation of product strategic based on market needs and customer insights.
  • Evangelize the Product portfolio both inside and outside the company
  • Actively participate in key strategic deals as a subject matter expert by providing solutions and commercial support.
  • Manage the Product development process across organizations by ensuring clear direction is communicated to engineering and operations teams when defining and prioritizing features, enhancements, platform improvements, and customer requests.
  • Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience, Technical / Professional Qualifications (Max 5)
  • Min 8+ years of experience. SME in Security in product management & development function. Deep understanding of security technologies - Cyber-Security solutions. Managed Security Services, Log Management, Vulnerability Research, SIEM Tools. Security compliance standards (i. e. HIPPA, PCI, SOX, GLBA). Firewall, IDS/IPS, email, Web Content Filtering, DDoS, threat mitigation systems
  • Strong experience in enterprise managed security services product lifecycle management.
  • End-to-end proposition development experience including developing product concepts, business cases, delivering products through NPD cycles and as building robust Go-to-market plans.

    • Technical / professional qualifications:

  • Engineering Graduate / MBA or equivalent
  • Product Management certifications- Pragmatic Marketing/Blackblot/Equivalent
  • Key Performance Indicators (Max 5)
  • Revenue and P&L accountability for security portfolio
  • Creation of Security portfolio complementing connectivity portfolio. Long Term roadmap and vision to increase market share for the respective product lines.

    • Product Capability enhancements and new product launches complementing existing products. Annual and LRP planning – market and customer insight, business objectives, depth of analysis, extent of detailing and timelines
