Role Summary

  • Plant Design & Layout Engineer/ Industrial Facility engineer/Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Process analysis including layout, cycle time, weld spot & welding seams distribution, welding assembly process proposal.
  • Assurance of timely task completion in accordance to facility construction goals (budget, quality schedule & time) and achievement of the project goals.
  • Assurance of timely completion of tasks through delegation to line organization & continuous monitoring of progress.
  • Continuous coordination of facility construction activities with project goals set by project management.
  • Layout design & Synchronization of project work with activities concerning new facilities or installations (expansion, relocation, Greenfield construction).
  • Selection of suitable manufacturing location in accordance with company strategy & customer requirements
  • Synchronization with production accountable to achieve capable production process in new or modified facilities.
  • Able to conduct time study / motion study & able to convert results in to reality.
  • Escalation to the project manager in case of issues.
  • Design & develop building, machines, new facilities & equipment specifications.
  • New facility home line & buyoff at supplier end.

Key Qualifications/Requirements

  • Task completion in accordance to facility construction goals (budget, quality & time schedules) and achievement of the project goals.
Should possess good presentation skills.

  • Ensure that standards are maintained dealing with the general health and safety of the workforce.
  • AUTOCAD with latest version, CATIA advanced will be added other required soft skills.
  • Able to work unsupervised;
  • Selfmotivated

Knowledge and Education
BE/Diploma - (Civil / Industrial engineering.)

More than 10 years' experience is required out of which 6-7 years related experience is must.

Should be able to develop lay-outs, prepare new constructions even new halls of factories, with a Maintenance background & all-round in constructions RFQ's, Power Facilities, installing machines etc., Should be able to deal with vendors internal customers & able to prepare project budget estimation along with budgetary quotes.

Ready to travel as required. Computer and data base skills & Auto Cad (Spreadsheet and Presentation software) Personal traits include:

Must be a self starter, a proven leader and able to work as a part of team, lead team, creative, good social skills, organised and ability to work with mínimal supervision and under pressure.

Must have good leadership & Communication qualities.
