Job Description for Home Nurses:
-
Patient Assessment:


  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health conditions, including physical, psychological, and social aspects.
  • Monitor vital signs, observe symptoms, and track overall patient wellbeing.

Care Planning:


  • Develop individualized care plans based on the patient's needs, medical history, and the physician's recommendations.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and family members, to create comprehensive care strategies.

Medical Procedures:


  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
  • Perform various medical procedures such as wound care, injections, and IV therapy as needed.

Patient Education:


  • Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment plans, and selfcare techniques.
  • Provide guidance on maintaining a healthy lifestyle and preventing complications.

Monitoring and Recording:


  • Regularly monitor and record patient progress, documenting any changes in health status or response to treatment.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate medical records, including medication administration records.

Communication:


  • Communicate effectively with patients, family members, and other healthcare team members.
  • Report any significant findings or concerns to the supervising physician or healthcare facility.

Emotional Support:


  • Offer emotional support to patients and their families, especially during challenging times.
  • Foster a compassionate and caring environment to enhance the overall wellbeing of the patient.

Coordination of Care:


  • Coordinate with other healthcare professionals involved in the patient's care, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and social workers.
  • Facilitate communication between the patient, family, and healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.

Safety and Infection Control:


  • Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures to prevent the spread of infections and ensure a safe home environment for the patient.

  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to handle diverse patient needs and unexpected situations.
  • Adjust care plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments and changes in the patient's condition.

  • Efficiently manage time and prioritize tasks to meet the needs of multiple patients and provide quality care.

Salary:
₹15, ₹25,000.00 per month
