Good understanding of NFR's and how to address them in architecture

Expertise in Microservices

Hands on experience in GCP and Java

Expert understanding of DevOps principles and Infrastructure as a Code concepts and techniques

Strong understanding of CI/CD and available tools

Security and Compliance, e.g. IAM and cloud compliance/auditing/monitoring tools

Customer/stakeholder focus. Ability to build strong relationships with Application teams, cross functional IT and global/local IT teams

Good leadership and teamwork skills

Operational effectiveness - delivers solutions that align to approved design patterns and security standards

Experienced in full automation and configuration management

Excellent written and spoken communication skills an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences

A comprehensive understanding of risk management and proven experience of ensuring own/others compliance with relevant regulatory processes

GCP Certifications - ideally professional.

Using Jenkins (or similar tools) to deploy code to Google Cloud, create new namespaces, creating docker images and pushing them to container registry of Google Cloud.

Skilled enough to build deployment, build scripts and automate solutions (using scripting languages like Bash, Shell, Perl and Python)

Gather required technology inputs, make required Assumptions, develop high level architecture and detailed technical design.

Finding the best tech solution among all possible solutions to solve existing business problems.

Evaluate new technologies and build POCs.

Participate in planning, definition, and high-level design of the solution, explore solution alternatives and help refine the solution

Work hands-on with the development team to prepare/review detailed technical design, do code reviews, ensure delivery as per committed estimates with high quality
