Roles & Responsibilities
- Responsible for understanding needs of the clients/customers, thereby suggesting or providing suitable solutions as per their requirement. Followed by necessary demonstrations, technical explanations, raising quotations, timely followups, closure, after sales service and repeat business providing exemplary service.
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media and develop sales into the Direct & Distribution channels.
- Develop & maintain dealer/distributor channel.
- To develop strong relation with clients by personal visit, courtesy call or by one to one meeting at frequent intervals.
- Gather and analyse specific local customer/area market information, major players' analysis, country volumes, and share.
- Responsible for Sales & Billing Collection from channel sales, distribution & retail.
- Responsible for monthly sales & revenue targets.
- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
- Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns
- Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services
- Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data
- Ensure the availability of stock for sales and demonstrations
- Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections
- Collaborate with team members to achieve better results
- Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams
Requirement & Expertise
- Min 2+ years' experience in lighting or related industry is a must.
- Flexible with work schedule specifically for demonstration events.
- Professional and positive conduct in words, actions, body language and grooming.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong individual sales, engagement and demonstration skills.
- Possess excellent team player skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office.
- Open to travel as and when required.
- Sales experience with premium brands preferable.
- Positive attitude, interest and willingness to understand STERNET SMART products and technology portfolio.
- Private 2wheeler vehicle preferred.
