desires to work with government clients and bring about a change in society. A successful candidate
will be expected to work pro-actively and effectively on multiple client engagements over the period of
time and take ownership of the entire project delivery he/she entrusted with.
The candidate should strong interpersonal skills, who not only enjoys the challenge of working with
other team members but externally with a diverse, senior-Government officials across varied Ministries
and PSUs. Recent experience and understanding of the Indian business ecosystem and government
initiatives is a must.
The candidate will be required to showcase excellent communication skills and will have demonstrated
consistently the skill and capability in delivering impactful and insightful projects in the past. He/she
will also be required to participate in client meetings and, during the course of a project, will be
responsive to client enquiries, eventually leading the delivery engagement.
They will also be expected to contribute to Practice or Firm development. This may be adjudged in
various ways such as serving as a mentor to other team members, by leading training/development
initiatives, contributing to thought leadership papers, assisting other network firms etc.
Positions are with PwC's One Consulting| Responsible Development Services| Citizen Services practice,
which works with Central & State Governments, PSUs, donor agencies etc. The position can be based in
Dehradun. However, the ideal candidate should not have any constraints to travel for work related
opportunities, whether domestic or internationally.

Roles & Responsibilities:
 Provide technical expertise on emerging technologies, including AI, Blockchain, Advanced
Robotics, IoT, Cloud, Computing, etc.
 Work closely with the Government to identify their emerging technologies needs, develop
solutions, and provide guidance on implementation and adoption.

 Conduct research and analysis to stay up to date on emerging technologies trends and best
practices.
 Develop technical proposals and presentations to communicate solutions to Government
stakeholders.
 Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop and deliver emerging
technologies projects.
 Provide technical guidance and support during the implementation of emerging technologies
solutions.
 Conduct training and awareness sessions for stakeholders on emerging technologies best
practices.
 Collaborate with international organizations and agencies on emerging technologies projects
related to the Government.

Educational Qualifications
 Post-Graduation: master's degree in technology (in Computer Science/Information Technology, or
a related field) OR
 Graduation: bachelor's degree (in Computer Science/ Information Technology, or a related field)
 Candidates with Ph.D. in related fields or Relevant License/Certification/Designation are preferred.

Work Experience
 Candidate with master's degree in technology with a minimum of 3 years of experience in emerging
technologies (any two), with a strong focus on AI, AR/VR, Blockchain, Computer Vision, Drones,
Metaverse, IoT, Cloud, or Quantum Computing.
 Candidate with bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in emerging technologies
(any two), with a strong focus on AI, AR/VR, Blockchain, Computer Vision, Drones, Metaverse, IoT,
Cloud, or Quantum Computing.
 Experience developing and delivering emerging technologies projects for large organizations,
including government agencies.
 Experience in programs involving extensive communication and coordination with stakeholders.
 Experience in working in a consulting role in providing emerging technology solutions to
government agencies is preferred.

Required Skill Sets
The Consultant / Expert - Emerging Technologies will be responsible for providing technical expertise on
various emerging technologies, including in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Internet
of Things (IoT), Blockchain, Cloud Computing, etc. The role will involve working closely with
government agencies to identify their emerging technology's needs, develop solutions, and provide
guidance on implementation and adoption. The Expert will need to undertake all preparatory work, data
migration, training initiatives, piloting, implementation, trial runs, etc. S/he will help the Team Lead in
several activities by analyzing technology trends, including solution architecture, technology portfolio
dimensions, and benchmark and peer analysis. S/he shall assess the impact of emerging technical and
business trends on future technology needs and capabilities.
 Strong understanding of emerging technologies principles, strategies, and trends.
 Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex
technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and strategically.
 Familiarity with relevant emerging technology laws and regulations in India.
