    Overview :

    The Developer cum Tech Lead for Mainframe CICS, COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, and Native Store Procedure plays a crucial role in leading and developing Mainframe applications.


    This position is essential for overseeing the technical aspects of Mainframe systems while also providing leadership and guidance to the development team.


    Key Responsibilities :

    • Lead and manage the development of Mainframe applications using CICS, COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, and Native Store Procedure.
    • Provide technical expertise and mentorship to the development team.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement Mainframe solutions.
    • Ensure the integrity, performance, and security of Mainframe systems.
    • Analyze and troubleshoot complex Mainframe issues.
    • Develop and maintain technical documentation and standards.
    • Stay updated with emerging Mainframe technologies and best practices.
    • Contribute to the continuous improvement of Mainframe development processes.
    • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
    • Assist in system integration and deployment activities.

    Required Qualifications :

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
    • Extensive experience in Mainframe development using CICS, COBOL, JCL, DB2, and VSAM.
    • Proven track record of leading and mentoring Mainframe development teams.
    • In-depth knowledge of Native Store Procedures and their implementation.
    • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for troubleshooting Mainframe issues.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
    • Certifications in relevant Mainframe technologies are a plus.
    • Understanding of performance tuning and optimization techniques for Mainframe applications.
