Physiotherapist( Community Based Rehabilitation)
Community Health Division of Bangalore Baptist Hospitalis the implementing agency for the
District Disability Rehabilitation Centre (DDRC)situated in the Bangalore Rural District Devanahalli covering a population of 10 lakhs with an estimated 15,000 persons with disabilities

Roles and Responsibilities

Community-based rehabilitation (CBR) physiotherapists play a crucial role in facilitating the integration, independence, and well-being of individuals with disabilities within their communities


Their responsibilities typically include:

• To provide physio services to children with autism / CP and another eurodevelopmental cases
• Assessment and Evaluation: Conducting thorough assessments to understand the individual's physical abilities, limitations, and needs within their community environment.
• Early intervention and rehabilitation
• Spinal cord rehabilitation
• Treatment Planning: Developing personalized treatment plans that focus on improving mobility, function, and independence through therapeutic exercises, modalities, and assistive devices.
• Education and Training: Providing education to individuals, families, and caregivers on disability management, and home exercise programs.
• Support and Counseling: Offering emotional support, counseling, and guidance to individuals and families as they navigate the challenges associated with disability.
• Followup and Monitoring**: Regularly assessing progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed, and providing ongoing support to ensure sustained improvements in function and quality of life.

By fulfilling these responsibilities, CBR physiotherapists contribute significantly to enhancing the inclusion, participation, and empowerment of individuals with disabilities within their communities


Qualification:
Bachelor in Physiotherapy(BPT) with 1-3 years experience(CBR)


Key duties and responsibilities

• Report and case story writing
• Community Based Rehabilitation
• Special skill in all Neuro conditions, posture correction. Stroke Rehabilitation, Special Children therapy ,
• Computer skills

Language :
Kannada is mandatory

Work Location:
Devanahalli Bangalore Rural District


Pay:
₹28, ₹35,000.00 per month
