Audit and Tax Executive

Job Overview:

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the audit and tax department, including overseeing the work of the audit and tax team, assigning tasks, and providing guidance and support as needed.

Plan, execute, and review audits, including financial statements audits, internal audits, and statutory audits, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and accounting standards.

Prepare and review tax returns, including income tax returns, GST returns, and tax audit, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations.

Overview of ROC compliances, including Annual returns, incorporation.

Provide expert advice and guidance on tax planning, tax strategies, and other tax-related matters to clients.

Develop and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing exceptional customer service.

Provide training and mentorship to team members, fostering their professional development and growth.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in audit and tax in a CA firm.

Strong knowledge of audit and tax principles, laws, regulations, and accounting standards.

Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

Ability to effectively communicate and interact with clients and team members.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Proficient in using accounting software and tools.

Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
