Job Description:


Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver effective mathematics lessons to students, catering to various grade levels and abilities.

Develop comprehensive lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments aligned with the curriculum standards.

Create a positive and engaging classroom environment that encourages active participation and critical thinking.

Teach mathematical concepts, theories, and problem-solving techniques using a variety of teaching methods, resources, and technology.

Help students develop a solid foundation in fundamental math skills, including arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and calculus.

Provide individual and group instruction, addressing students' unique learning styles and needs.

Assist students in completing assignments, homework, and projects, offering guidance and feedback to enhance their understanding.

Assess and evaluate student progress through regular tests, quizzes, and examinations, providing constructive feedback for improvement.

Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance, and communicate progress reports to parents or guardians.

Collaborate with other math teachers and school staff to exchange ideas, share best practices, and develop effective teaching strategies.

Stay updated with advancements in mathematics education and incorporate innovative teaching techniques into the classroom.


Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field. Master's degree is preferred.

Previous experience in teaching mathematics, preferably in a school setting, is highly desirable.

Proficient knowledge of mathematics concepts and principles across different levels, including arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and calculus.

Strong instructional and classroom management skills, with the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey complex mathematical ideas to students.

Passion for teaching and helping students develop a strong mathematical foundation and problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with educational technology, computer software, and online resources for enhancing math instruction.

Organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining accurate records and preparing progress reports.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Flexibility in working hours to accommodate the schedules of students.

We offer a competitive salary range of $30,000 - $36,000, based on qualifications and experience, with additional incentives. Additionally, we provide an afternoon meal for our employees.
