    Role Description:
    This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Cloud Database Admin - Snowflake.

    As a Senior Cloud Database Admin - Snowflake, you will manage Snowflake databases and ensure their performance, security, and availability.

    You will work closely with development and infrastructure teams to design, implement, and maintain database systems.

    You will also provide technical expertise on data storage systems, backup, unstructured and structured databases create and maintain database documentation and SOPs, and monitor database performance.


    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
    • 7+ years of experience in database administration
    • Expertise in administering large fleets of Snowflake databases
    • Demonstrated experience in Shell Scripting or python
    • Handson experience with configuring and monitoring Azure or AWS services
    • Strong experience with SQL and data modeling principles
    • Experience and knowledge of database performance optimization techniques
    • Knowledge on database backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies
    • Experience with integration of database management systems and DevOps tools
    • Strong experience with database security principles and configurations
    • Excellent analytical, problemsolving, and communication skills
