Role Summary


As a Networking & IT Support Associate, you'll be responsible for providing technical assistance to the team members and be responsible for upkeep and efficient functioning of our systems.


Who are you?

Ideally, you have _(_
_The areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role): _

  • At least 3 years of work experience as a Network & IT Support technician
  • Experience with network infrastructure devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities with excellent attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills to provide technical support to nontechnical users
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

What will you do _(areas that will play to your strength and all the responsibilities we will trust you with):_**-
Technical Support: Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues. This includes responding to help desk tickets, resolving user problems, and providing guidance on proper system usage.

Network Support: VPN set up

Data Backup and Recovery: Regularly update and back up data to external devices or cloud storage to free up space where required. Perform data recovery procedures and ensure security and confidentiality.

Security Management:Help maintain the security of the company's systems and data. This involves implementing security measures, such as antivirus software, firewalls, and access controls. Stay updated on the latest security threats and vulnerabilities, and take proactive measures to mitigate risks.

Software License Management:Keep track of software licenses and ensure compliance with licensing agreements. Monitor software usage, assist with software procurement, and maintain an inventory of software assets.

Documentation and Knowledge Base:Create and maintain documentation, user guides, and knowledge base articles to facilitate self-service troubleshooting and provide resources for users. Document IT policies, procedures, and best practices for the organization.

IT Asset Management:Track and manage IT assets, including hardware, software licenses, and peripherals. Maintain an inventory of IT assets, assist with procurement processes, and ensure proper asset disposal or recycling.

  • Stay Current with Technology: Keep uptodate with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in IT support. Continuously learn and improve technical skills to enhance the quality of support provided to the organization.

Remuneration - 5-6 lacs p.a. (depending on experience)
