Job Description:
An Image Editor is responsible for enhancing and retouching images to meet specific client or project requirements.
The Image Editor must have a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and a creative flair to produce high-quality images.
Key Responsibilities:
Edit and retouch images to meet specific client or project requirements.
Use software tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and Illustrator to enhance images.
Select the appropriate tools and techniques to ensure the best possible image quality.
Collaborate with other team members, including photographers, graphic designers, and art directors to ensure images meet project requirements.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in image editing and related software.
Manage and organize large volumes of digital images, ensuring files are named correctly and stored appropriately.
Ensure all images are delivered on time and within budget.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Photography, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field.
Proven experience as an image editor or similar role.
Proficiency in image editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and Illustrator.
Strong technical skills, including color correction, exposure adjustments, and noise reduction.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with other team members.
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
Portfolio showcasing your previous work as an image editor.
