d sales professional 35 to 45 years of age ( 12 to 20 years' experience) from the chemical industry with a strong background of selling into competitive market segments, preferably involving exposure to refinery, petrochemical end client space and/or fertilizer, organic chemical segments.

  • Qualifications : Chemical Engineering degree from a reputed institute. Postgraduate qualification in management desirable but not mandatory.
  • Domestic & overseas sales account responsibility for catalysts (adsorbents), coating chemicals and organic chemicals.
  • Sales
budgeting, periodic forecasting and providing medium term sales outlook to senior management as & when required.

  • Responsible for meeting annual revenue targets, market penetration KRAs and planned business growth in key customer segments.
  • Maintaining smooth relationships at operational/senior levels at key customers and build client loyalty.
  • Oversee initial troubleshooting by the sales team of complaints reported by customers and provide critical inputs and feedback to concerned departments on realtime basis.
  • Build and maintain efficient market mapping and proactive market intelligence system/network to provide the company a definite competitive edge
  • Manage the sales team and daytoday departmental functioning.
