Job Description - Data Architect
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive data governance strategies, policies, and frameworks to support the organization's data management objectives.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define data governance standards, processes, and procedures in alignment with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA).
- Design and implement data quality assessment processes, including data profiling, data cleansing, and data validation techniques.
- Establish data ownership, accountability, and stewardship frameworks to ensure clear roles and responsibilities for managing and protecting data assets.
- Conduct data risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address datarelated risks and vulnerabilities.
- Define and enforce data classification and labeling standards to ensure appropriate data handling and protection measures are implemented.
- Lead data governance education and awareness programs to promote understanding and compliance with data governance policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement data governance tools and technologies, such as data cataloging, metadata management, and data lineage tracking.
- Monitor and report on key data governance metrics, trends, and issues to senior management and stakeholders.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes related to data governance and recommend strategies for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or related field.
- Minimum of 58 years of experience in data governance, data management, or related roles.
- Deep understanding of data governance principles, frameworks, and best practices.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, etc.
- Experience designing and implementing data quality assessment processes and tools.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with crossfunctional teams and senior stakeholders.
- Certification in data governance (e.g., CDMP, DGSP, CIP) is a plus.
Salary:
₹3,000, ₹3,500,000.00 per year
