    Job Summary:

    We are on the lookout for a highly skilled and detail-oriented PCB Designer to join our dynamic team. The selected candidate will be tasked with designing printed circuit boards (PCBs) for various electronic products. The ideal applicant will bring extensive experience in PCB layout design, proficiency in CAD software tools, and a solid understanding of electronic components and manufacturing processes.

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with engineering teams to grasp design requirements and specifications for PCB layouts.
    • Create high-quality PCB layouts using CAD software tools while ensuring compliance with industry standards and design guidelines.
    • Execute schematic capture, component placement, and PCB routing to meet performance, size, and cost demands.
    • Lead design reviews and work with cross-functional teams to enhance PCB designs for manufacturability, reliability, and performance.
    • Prepare fabrication and assembly documentation, including Gerber files, assembly drawings, and bill of materials (BOM).
    • Coordinate with PCB fabrication vendors and assembly partners to guarantee timely and cost-effective production of PCB prototypes and production runs.
    • Conduct design validation, test PCB prototypes, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary design improvements.
    • Stay updated on advancements in PCB design technologies, tools, and methodologies to continually enhance design processes and practices.
    • Adhere strictly to company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements throughout the design and development phases.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
    • Demonstrated experience (minimum 2 years) as a PCB Designer or in a similar role within the electronics industry.
    • Proficiency in CAD software tools like Altium Designer, OrCAD, Allegro, or KiCad.
    • Solid grasp of PCB layout design principles, signal integrity, and EMC/EMI considerations.
    • Understanding of electronic components, circuit design principles, and manufacturing processes.
    • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail in identifying and resolving design issues.
    • Capability to work autonomously, managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced setting.
    • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations governing PCB design and manufacturing (e.g., IPC standards).
    • Experience with PCB fabrication and assembly processes, including DFM/DFT considerations, is a valuable asset.
    • Thorough knowledge of impedance matching, signal integrity, and power integrity.
