We are looking for a Snowflake Solution Architect to join our team remotely.

Responsibilities:

Analyzing and understanding business requirements. Working together with stakeholders to comprehend their needs and requirements.
Defining and documenting the overall solution architecture that meets the needs and requirements of the stakeholders.
Evaluating and selecting appropriate technologies and platforms for the solution. Identifying potential technology solutions.
Creating a solution prototype and setting the collaboration framework for the development team.
Analyzing and evaluating the technology environment, enterprise specifics, and project constraints.
Developing and maintaining architectural standards and best practices.
Planning and controlling the integration of the new solution into the existing ecosystem.
Identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues related to the solution.
Designing and planning the implementation of the chosen solution.
Translating the suggestions of stakeholders and business analysts into technical language.
Ensuring that the solution meets performance, scalability, and security requirements.
Collaborating with various teams to ensure successful implementation.
Evaluating the effectiveness of the solution and making necessary adjustments.
Act as a mentor to the delivery team. Providing technical guidance and support to development teams.
Act as a trustful consultant to business teams.
Participating in the continuous improvement of the solution and its components.

Qualifications

Proficiency in data warehousing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
Proficiency in Snowflake architecture, administration, and optimization.
Strong understanding of database management systems, ETL processes, and data modeling.
Relevant experience of building Data Lake or Data Warehouse.
Experience with data modeling, warehouse design.
Demonstrated experience in leading data warehouse projects from conception to implementation.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into understandable language for nontechnical stakeholders.

Nice to have:

Experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing data solutions on the Azure platform or another Microsoft solution.
Relevant certifications will be a plus.
