In this role, you have the opportunity to

  • Select and qualify of electrical components in sophisticated respiratory care medical equipment
  • Enrich global experience within medical domain and build expertise in medical device electrical components engineering activities
  • Invasive and Non-Invasive Class II/III medical device electrical components Design History Files (DHFs) remediation including Components Specification Sheets (CSS)
  • Electrical components engineering aspects for sleep and respiratory care products like Hospital/Home Ventilators
  • Ensure components solutions are consistent with the higherlevel architecture and requirements and complies with Global Regulatory and Safety requirements.
  • Manage EOL/Obsolescence issue in proactive manner

You are responsible for

  • Design History File (DHF) remediation for components engineering deliverables which includes
- creating or revising components specification sheet (CSS).

  • DHFs responsibilities for embedded systems components, controllers & processors, digital and analog circuitry, power supplies, connectivity interfaces.
  • Develop and document components specification sheets in compliance with Quality Management System requirements.
  • Provide engineering support for alternate component selection and qualification during product design/production and address component EndofLife issues.
  • Find and select suitable components based on system and design requirements
  • Ensure component issues don't result in project delays or production linedown scenarios
  • Qualify alternate parts/suppliers to resolve sourcing or leadtime challenges
  • Qualify alternate components to reduce BOM cost.
  • Work with Manufacturing Engineering and contract manufacturers to address component issues
  • Work with Development Teams, Operations/Manufacturing Engineering, contract manufacturers and suppliers to optimize Design for Manufacturability and Design for Testability

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • B.E/B.Tech Electronics Engineering from reputed institute
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in electromechanical devices components engineering activities. nice to have medical devices engineering experience
  • End to end electrical components engineering experience for electromechanical products
  • Experience with components engineering for embedded systems, controllers & processors, digital and analog circuitry, power supplies, connectivity interfaces.
  • Well versed with New Product Introduction (stage gate process) & Life Cycle Sustenance of medical product
  • Experience in medical device documentation: DHF, DMR, BOM and Spec release
  • Strong understanding of electrical component functionality and critical specifications
  • Demonstrable experience working with crossdisciplinary development teams
  • Fluent in verbal and written English, proactive, cando attitude, team player, decisive and entrepreneurial attitude
  • Display perseverance & agility with execution excellence mindset
