Maintenance of machines and equipments at state of art casting shop consisting of various machines like, Casting Bed (ZITAI),Core Shooter, Gas fired Melting Furnace, Holding Furnace, Heat treatment Furnace, Cooling Tower, Decoding, KUKA Robots, Sand Conveyors, EOT Cranes, Vacuum Pumps etc.


  • Maintenance of machines and equipments at state of art casting shop consisting of various machines.
  • Sound knowledge on Siemens Plc programming & trouble shooting is preferred.
  • Hands on Siemens, Mitsubishi, Delta & Allen Bradley Plc experience as a basic PLC programmer.
  • Knowledge of of PLC automation software and coding languages.
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic background and abilities. Experience with and be skilled in reading and interpreting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and PLC ladder drawings.
  • Knowledge Electrical and mechanical engineering with manufacturing and mechanical processes.
  • Troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation maintenance issues and complete appropriate documentation.
  • Hands on PLC I/O, control wiring & Field wiring to trouble shoot the breakdowns.
  • Knowledge of Casting shop equipments i.e Casting bed, Core making machines, melting furnace is useful.
  • Hands on knowledge and experience with various types of instrument and electrical systems, equipment and software
  • Having the knowledge of various types of Maintenance & practices.
  • Update and archive electrical drawings, PLC programs, and HMI, necessary for the documentation of modifications.
  • Update and archive electrical prints, PLC programs, operator interface software, necessary for the documentation of projects that have gone into production
  • Design electrical control and communication systems for production equipment
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fastpaced team environment.

Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for directing and participating in all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of the production equipment, building systems and process infrastructure in an injection mold plant.
  • This individual is also expected to provide training for technicians, operators and line leaders and to establish training programs for all equipment related maintenance plans.
  • Must be computer literate and familiar with appropriate software programs. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing (Kanban, 5s, Std, Work, Problem Solving, etc.).
  • Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation
  • Check electrical and hydraulic systems of buildings to ensure functionality
  • Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities
  • Allocate workload and supervise upkeep staff (custodians, janitors etc.)
  • Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary
  • Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance
  • Manage relationships with contractors and service providers
  • Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities
