Job Purpose:


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Ensure the smooth functioning of Windows Servers (DHCP, DNS, File server, DFS, Application, Hyper-V, Print server, Terminal Services, Remote App etc.) and Azure cloud management and WSUS (Windows Server Update Services).
  • Assist in the management of DC, ADC (Replication) and Group Policy Management.
  • Support the administration of the Office 365 environment, archiving, and AD sync.
  • Provide support to the IT & Communication infrastructure in the office and onboard the vessel and attend to SysAid helpdesk request in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the installation, maintenance, and management of CCTV systems.
  • Liaise with external service providers to ensure expected service levels are met and follow up on service request tickets, including primary and backup internet lines.
  • Assist in managing office electronic hardware and software and the maintenance of the same.
  • Support data management by backing up data from all Office Systems / Barracuda devices & cloud backup.
  • Support network security planning, execution, and monitoring of various controls deployed as per the network security management. Ensure physical security and environmental controls are in place for the server rooms.
  • Support upgrading systems and hardware as required to ensure that all processes adopted by the company may be executed, and ensure uptodate inventory is maintained of IT equipment onboard and ashore.
  • Support IT redundancy systems are built in place to support business function.
  • Support the organization of training/conferences for the Shore staff for cyber risks. Actively participate in arranging Campbell Social event and other functions.
  • Managing the IT ticketing system.
  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities imposed by the IT Manager.

Minimum Experience Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year of experience in IT operations, support, or maintenance.


Preferred Experience Requirements:


  • Handson experience in managing Windows servers, Office 365, Azure cloud, and WSUS.
  • Experience in data management and network security management.
  • Experience in vendor management and inventory management.
  • Experience of Shipping Industry and Shared service domain.

Minimum Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or any related field.


Preferred Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or any related field.


Required Skills:


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Experience in the shipping or logistics industry is a plus.
  • Knowledge of vessel communication equipment's
  • Excellent handson AD, IT hardware, IT Security etc.

Required Competencies:


  • Work experience in Network and System Administration.
  • Knowledge of Vessel IT systems.
  • Excellent Windows and Server Management (DHCP, DNS, File server, Application, Hyper-V, Print server, Terminal Services, Remote App etc.)
  • Microsoft Certified.
  • Azure cloud management.
  • WSUS (Windows Server Update Services).
  • Creation, management of AD and Group Policies.
  • Overall security and reliability of the AD forest.
  • AD user management and AD sync knowledge.
  • Management of trust relationship with domain.
  • Office 365 environment administration, archiving and AD sync.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure and setup, Firewall configuration.
  • DFS Management (share folder management).
  • Network troubleshooting and user issues.
  • Network Security Strategy.
  • Switch Management.
  • Antivirus configuration and management.
  • Vendor Management (such as Internet Lease line troubleshooting and Coordination with ISP).
  • Backups and data replications.
  • CCTV installation and management.
  • SQL database management (would be a plus).

Job Types:

Salary:
₹300, ₹500,000.00 per year
