    Job Title: Data Engineer

    Job Type: Full-time

    Responsibilities:

    1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design robust, scalable data solutions.

    2. Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ingest data from various sources into our data warehouse.

    3. Implement advanced data modeling and design efficient, optimized databases.

    4. Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing rigorous data validation and cleansing processes.

    5. Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to provide clean and structured data for complex analysis.

    6. Work with and manage big data technologies and frameworks, such as Hadoop, Spark, and Apache Airflow.

    7. Optimize and troubleshoot data processing pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability.

    8. Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in data engineering, and integrate them into our workflows.

    Requirements:

    1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

    2. 3-4 years of experience in data engineering or a related role.

    3. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.

    4. Advanced experience with SQL and database technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).

    5. Proficiency with ETL tools and processes.

    6. In-depth understanding of data modeling and database design principles.

    7. Hands-on experience with big data technologies and distributed computing.

    8. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

    9. Proven ability to optimize and scale data processing pipelines.

    Nice to Have:

    1. Extensive experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, Azure Synapse Analytics).

    2. Proficiency with data orchestration tools like Apache Airflow.

    3. Knowledge of data governance and security best practices.

    4. Exposure to machine learning concepts and data science workflows.

    5. Relevant certifications in data engineering or related fields.
