    Role: Manager - Sourcing & New Product Development

    Category: Footwear, Textile, Consumer health products, Orthotics, Medical devices

    Location: Pune

    Experience: Minimum 4 years in product sourcing

    Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for the sourcing of products from Indian and Other factories
    • Negotiating best prices and favourable payment terms to the company
    • Driving end to end process from sampling, production follow-up, and shipments
    • Working with cross-functional teams like the design team on developing artwork for packaging boxes, the Engineering team for quality checks of product, training customers, support on new launches etc.
    • Driving top line and bottom line for their respective category
    • Implementation of plans for the category in areas of price, promotion & assortment.
    • Dealing with various vendors- merchandising activities like calculating trims / raw material, costing of product.
    • Monitoring product lifecycle of every product in the category and take early calls for opportunity maximization
    • Accurately forecasting trends, planning stock and monitoring performance.

    Skills & Qualification :

    • 4+ years' experience in sourcing.
    • Prior experience in Planning and Category Management, B2B sales / marketing role with team management capability preferred
    • Self-starter, problem solver to identify process gaps and trouble shoot them
    • Ability to execute in rapid growth and fast paced environment -ability to work with ambiguity in a start-up environment
