Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cluster Chef to oversee the culinary operations of our South Indian Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) concept across multiple outlets.

As a Cluster Chef, you will be responsible for maintaining recipe consistency, ensuring adherence to food safety standards, conducting sanitation audits, and demonstrating strong administration skills in utilizing Microsoft Office, POS, and back-office systems.

In this role, you will report to the Brand Corporate Chef, working closely with them to uphold the culinary vision and standards of our brand.

Please note that in the future, this role may require relocation to Dubai.

Your expertise in South Indian cuisine, leadership abilities, administrative proficiency, and willingness to relocate will contribute to the growth and success of our culinary operations.


Responsibilities:


Recipe Training and Consistency:

  • Develop and standardize recipes for all South Indian dishes served in our QSR concept.
  • Train kitchen staff across multiple outlets on the preparation and cooking techniques required for each dish.
  • Ensure consistent execution of recipes and presentation across all outlets.

Food Safety and Sanitation:

  • Implement and maintain strict food safety and sanitation practices in compliance with local health regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits to monitor food handling, storage, and cleanliness in the kitchen and service areas.
  • Provide training and guidance to the kitchen team on food safety protocols and best practices.

Menu Development and Improvement:

  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and enhance the menu offerings, considering customer preferences and market trends.
  • Introduce new South Indian dishes and explore opportunities to innovate and elevate the dining experience.

Team Leadership and Training:
Lead, inspire, and motivate kitchen staff across multiple outlets, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. - Conduct training sessions to enhance the culinary skills and knowledge of the kitchen team members. - Provide guidance and support to ensure consistent high-quality food production.


Quality Control and Vendor Management:

  • Source and evaluate ingredient suppliers to maintain the highest quality standards.
  • Conduct periodic quality checks on ingredients and food products to ensure freshness and consistency.
  • Maintain effective communication with vendors and suppliers to address any quality issues or concerns.

Operational Efficiency:

  • Collaborate with outlet managers to optimize kitchen operations, streamline processes, and maximize productivity.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and cost effectiveness.

Administration and Systems:

Reporting:

  • Report to the Brand Corporate Chef, providing updates on culinary operations, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with the Brand Corporate Chef to uphold culinary vision and standards.

Future Relocation:

  • Be open to the possibility of future relocation to Dubai to support the growth and expansion of our business.

Requirements:


Proven experience as a Cluster Chef, Kitchen Manager, or similar role in a multi-outlet QSR environment, preferably specializing in South Indian cuisine.


  • Indepth knowledge of South Indian culinary techniques, flavors, and ingredients.
  • Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards and the ability to implement and monitor them effectively.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to train and develop kitchen staff on recipe execution and food safety protocols.
Creative mindset with a passion for culinary innovation and menu development.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to oversee multiple outlets.

Salary:
₹30, ₹40,000.00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • Higher Secondary(12th Pass) (preferred)

Experience:


  • Chef: 1 year (preferred)
