Manager/ Sr. Manager - Data Science

Reporting Structure Part of Project Management Vertical and CoE

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering/Management.

Education
Master's degree in engineering/Management preferred.
years of total relevant experience.

• Minimum of 4 years in leadership roles in Artificial Intelligence & Machine

Learning (AI/ML)

• Handson programming skills in Python, R etc.
• Experience in diverse Data Science modelling including deep learning and

Experience reinforced.

• Understanding of relational and nonrelational databases
• Knowledge and experience in statistical, data mining and ML techniques
• Working experience in Big Data and related technologies : Map/Reduce,

Hadoop, Hive, Spark, SQL, Mongo DB, HDFS etc.

• Ability to explain and present analyses and machine learning concepts to a broad technical audience

• Experience in Analytics

• Reports and Dashboards

Preferably from a Technology, ITES, Products, Professional SI organization with a

Industry focus on BFSI

He/she will be a techno managerial leadership role responsible for leading a top-class data team, providing technical vision, analytical support and business intelligence, to analyse large amount of raw information to find patterns, build data products and models to extract valuable business insights.

He/she is expected to manage a team and also contribute:

• Build, develop, coach and manage a team of data professionals in the area of Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, Analytics, Data

Science, Experimentation, AI & ML.

• Perform statistical and exploratory data analysis
• Research and implement appropriate Ai/ML algorithms and review the (code) implementation of team members
• Identify valuable data sources and architect/automate ETL strategies
• Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture
• Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and

Responsibilities patterns

• Coordinate project governance meetings, project health checks, phase gate reviews, post project reviews and project level workshops
• Produce periodic and adhoc reports for all stakeholders including leadership to monitor and ensure that projects comply with the governance framework
• Play a proactive role in the promotion of project management methods and standards, implementation of good project management practice and the monitoring of projects
• Provide timely, candid and constructive performance feedback to direct reports
• Develop direct reports to their fullest potential and provide challenging opportunities that enhance their career growth
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested by Senior/Executiv e

Certifications
Big Data, Data Science Specific Certifications are preferred

Employment Type All positions are on fixed term contract on a full-time basis exclusively for ReBIT, initially for a period of five years, extendable by mutual consent.
