Position Title:
Deputy General Manager - Strategy and Planning (Corporate Events)


Position Overview:


The Deputy General Manager of Strategy and Planning for Corporate Events is a key leadership role responsible for driving the strategic direction, planning, and execution of corporate events within the organization.

This position requires a seasoned strategist with a deep understanding of corporate event management, strong analytical skills, and the ability to translate business objectives into actionable event strategies.

The Deputy GM will collaborate closely with senior management and cross-functional teams to ensure that corporate events align with organizational goals and deliver maximum value.


Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning:
Develop and implement comprehensive strategic plans for corporate events that align with the organization's overall objectives and priorities. Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and best practices in event management.

Business Alignment:
Work closely with senior management and key stakeholders to understand business goals and objectives for corporate events.

Develop strategies to ensure that events effectively support broader business initiatives, such as brand building, client engagement, lead generation, and revenue growth.


Event Portfolio Management:

Oversee the development and management of the corporate event portfolio, including conferences, seminars, product launches, executive retreats, and client appreciation events.

Evaluate the performance of existing events and identify opportunities for portfolio expansion or optimization.

Financial Planning and Analysis:

Develop and manage budgets for corporate events, ensuring that financial resources are allocated effectively and in alignment with strategic priorities.

Conduct financial analysis and forecasting to optimize event investments and maximize return on investment (ROI).

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, communications, and operations, to ensure seamless integration of event strategies with broader organizational initiatives.

Coordinate efforts to leverage event opportunities for maximum impact across departments.

Stakeholder Engagement:
Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior executives, clients, sponsors, and vendors. Communicate effectively to align stakeholders around event objectives, timelines, and deliverables.

Performance Measurement and Reporting:
Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate the success of corporate events.

Monitor and analyze event performance data, providing regular reports and insights to senior management to inform strategic decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.


Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in event management. Drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of corporate events.


Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful corporate event strategies that drive business results.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and make datadriven decisions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively, anticipate future trends, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, budget management, and ROI measurement.
  • Experience working in a fastpaced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines and multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in event management software and tools.

₹1,800, ₹2,200,000.00 per year
