  • Develop cloud templates, infrastructure as code (IAC) for Azure\AWS\GCP clouds using Terraform.
  • Work with cloud provider support to resolve issues as it relates to Weatherford cloud solutions.
  • Work with Business Application teams to resolve app deployment issues related to cloud infrastructure.
  • An understanding of disaster recovery setup and configuration for Azure\AWS\GCP
  • An understanding of backup capabilities for Azure\AWS\GCP
Kubernetes roles and responsibilities from operations perspective includes but not limited to:

  • Cluster management - Deploy and maintain the Kubernetes clusters across multiple environments ensuring HA and Reliability. Implement node config, network policies and storage solutions.
  • Container Orchestration - deploy micro services, automating the scaling and load balancing processes.
  • Deployment with Helm Charts and implement auto scaling based on resource utilization metrics.
  • Implement RBAC and network policies.
  • Monitoring and logging setup Prometheus and Grafana for health resource utilization, centralized logging, cluster health, performance and capacity
  • Automating the routine tasks such as backup and restore procedure and cluster upgrade, integrate automation into CI/CD pipeline
  • Maintain the detailed documentation on Kubernetes configuration and troubleshooting common issues.
  • Pod management.
