    Role Summary

    This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Executive Purchase at our location in Chennai.

    The Senior Executive Purchase will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to purchasing, including sourcing and procuring products, managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of supplies.

    The Senior Executive Purchase will also collaborate with other teams to optimize procurement processes and ensure cost efficiency.

    Description


    • To identify and recommend vendors for different types of goods on a need basis.
    • To support in ensure end to end procurement of various kinds of supplies pertaining to New Product Development as well as regular production of existing products in terms of Raw Materials, Packaging Materials, Marketing Materials; to also procure materials required for QC, Warehouse, Business Development and Office Supplies.
    • To obtain quotations, samples, negotiation, purchase and ensure on time delivery based on requirements.
    • To coordinate on missing/defect products and ensure replacement or adjustment vide credit note.
    • To prepare Purchase Orders as per the approved quotations.
    • To submit Purchase Orders to Accounts for payment processing.
    • To prepare and submit timely MIS reports.
    Qualifications

    • Experience in purchasing and procurement
    • Strong negotiation and contract management skills
    • Knowledge of supply chain management principles
    • Detailoriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
    • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and meet tight deadlines
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
