Position Overview

What You Will Do:


  • Lead and manage all aspects of the monthly accounting close and statutory tax reporting process for accurate and timely regulatory requirements; including preparation of a monthly close package in both India and US GAAP tracking actual performance against budgets to drive achievement to plan
  • Manage the preparation and support for all financial audits with no audit adjustments or management letter findings identified, while reducing the time to complete
  • Comply with all statutory reporting requirements and tax filings, managing the thirdparty service providers that support tax preparation and audits
  • Support treasury management focused on forecasting weekly cash requirements and managing processing of payable transactions to optimal payment terms
  • Serve as the technical accounting professional and trusted advisor to senior management maintaining current knowledge of incountry Indian GAAP, relevant regulations, and industry trends providing guidance, planning, and direction related to all financial and accounting matters
  • Effectively lead accounting team in fostering a fun and engaging team dynamic, drive engagement through defined accountability, set clear and exciting goals and provide timely feedback and coaching
  • Drive productivity improvements throughout the accounting organization and increase organizational capability through training and development of personnel and efficiencies through automation
  • Instill financial discipline throughout the organization and implement effective cost and expense control measures

  • Ability and desire to translate sophisticated financial concepts to individuals at all levels including finance and nonfinance managers
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced, high growth environment, managing multiple activities and changing priorities within tight timeframes
  • Ownership mindset—data accuracy and reporting integrity are crucial to our finance brand
  • Ability to influence, establish credibility, trust, and partnership at all levels of the organization (across geographies and organization), and knowing when to escalate appropriately
  • Proficiency in documenting, and implementing accounting policies and processes, with thought leadership to localization in other geographies
  • Above average Excel skills and sophisticated knowledge of MS Office

What you will need:


  • Ten (10)+ years' progressive experience in auditing, accounting, tax and compliance in a dynamic, high volume environment
  • Minimum 5 years' experience working as a Company Secretary and engaging with the Registrar of Companies on compliance matters
  • Minimum 5 years' experience specific to financial accounting and statutory tax reporting;
  • Bachelor's or equivalent in Accounting or Finance; Master's Degree and/or Chartered Accountant preferred
  • Hands on experience using a large ERP system required; Microsoft Dynamics preferred
