Overview / Responsibilities:
Wood is currently recruiting for a IT SAM Administrator


Job Purpose


Management, control and protection of the Company's software assets using available tools and best practice methods to ensure license integrity.

Minimisation of costs and legal risk around ownership to the Business. Provision of usage information to support the purchase, deployment, maintenance and disposal throughout the product lifecycle.

Communicate to IT Management all relevant information; IT Technical Teams to ensure compliant infrastructure; Discipline Departments on an ad-hoc information demand basis.

Responsibilities

  • Management and control of the Company's software assets; maintaining the information contained within the software asset register; the software management tool, and infrastructure distribution mechanism; to reflect changes in the status of existing assets and addition of new assets.
  • Using appropriate reporting tools; provide reports as required by IT Management to advise on trend and usage information to support the purchase, deployment, maintenance and disposal of software assets.
  • Regularly review utilisation and reharvest software licenses to ensure maximum benefit of software assets are realised.
  • Assist the IT Business Partners in connection with reharvesting activities associated with the Company's software assets.

Skills / Qualifications:

  • Software Asset Management experience years)
  • Microsoft Excel knowledge to manipulate data
  • Preferably experience using ServiceNow
  • Preferably experience using Snow
  • Preferably bachelor of science degree (IT or Computer)
